"I AM SWOLLEN AND CANNOT BREATHE!"

 

There are occasions when a tooth is infected and the infection spreads beyond the confines of the jaw bone. This can be a life threathening condition unless addressed by a doctor and dentist immediately.

 

If you are having trouble breathing, Call 000 for help or present to your local hospital emergency department. The closest to our clinic is Nepean Hospital.

 

If you have a swelling of the face, tooth ache or oral pain, call our dental surgery immediately for treatment.

 

 

 

"I HAVE A TOOTH ACHE!"

 

It can be very destressing to be suffering from tooth ache or other pains originating from the mouth. We always try to see patients calling with an emergency on the same day.

 

You can call us for advice on how to best manage the pain until you can come and see us. When making an appointment our nurses may ask you questions on the phone regarding the pain or problem tooth, so we can best prepare for your visit and allocate sufficient time for the appointment.

 

"WHAT HAPPENS ON THE FIRST VISIT?"

 

On the very first visit we will perform a thorough exam, X-rays and consult with you any dental concerns you may have and formulate a treatment plan for you.

 

If you are in pain let us know when you make the appointment so we can allocate sufficient time to address that concern also.

 

"I HAVE A MISSING TOOTH, WHAT CAN I DO?"

 

There are a few options for a missing tooth.

 

You could have an Implant, Bridge, Partial Denture, Close the gap with orthodontics and do nothing.

Your dentist will conduct a thorough exam and discuss with you the options available.

The dental clinic comprises of dentists; Dr Chris Morris, Dr Sen Le and Dr Edward Yoo, all Sydney University Dentistry graduates and devoted to continuing education in dentistry.
